Our lovely and adorable 2 year old, as I have mentioned is determined to be her own self, and do what she wants to do, never mind what Mom and Dad say.
I was busy trying to purchase Dinosaur Live tickets online, you know when they only give you 5 minutes to hold them, and as you are just finishing your registration, it conveniently says "Your tickets are no longer reserved, please try again." Bleepity bleep bleep BLEEP!
Sorry
So Julia comes in with bright red nail polish, demanding that I paint her toe nails, since I had just finished her finger nails with a nice shade of light purple, that you can hardly see.
I tell her to simply hold on, as I am frantically trying to avoid another bleep moment. That just is not acceptable to Miss Julia. I told her to ask her Dad. He is too afraid to paint finger nails, and she decides to give up, or so that's what I have been led to believe.

She comes running in, as I finish finally getting my tickets, and says in her extremely excited squeely voice, "Mommy, I did it all by myself!"
The horror sets in, and I run into the bathroom, expecting to find red nail polish all over the bathroom. It's not all over the bathroom, but all over her feet. She was so proud, I couldn't get upset, and I had to take a picture.
Out of fear that her toes were still wet, and dripping, I asked her to sit down while I ran to grab the camera, and she amazingly enough was still patiently waiting in the same spot I left her.
Now it's time to show off a little

Love the toes! I dont think she could be any cuter!
Love the pigtails! I was waiting for the disaster at the end but she did remarkably well I think.
OH my gosh that is my hugest nightmare. What a cutie and congrats to you for her not getting any on the carpet or grout (try cleaning that. - ugh!)
