Dr. Laura

So, I was listening to Dr. Laura today, while running my insane errands, that never ever end. Ever. It always amazes me when people who have been listening to her for years and years, and supposedly LOVE her, and value her opinion, and listen and abide by everything she says, call in and tell her their dilemma. Why does it amaze me? Because I am referring to those people who are what Dr. Laura calls "Shacking Up," or they did something to completely warrant their "dilemma" and are now reaping the consequences of it. I always get a good laugh, especially when the young man called in today because he is upset with the way his father is talking to him, and they haven't spoken for 1 year. He said his dad doesn't respect him and talk to him like an adult. She told him he was being too sensitive, and that she still talks to her son, who is deployed, like a baby (a cute googly eyed one) and to call him up and wish him a Merry Christmas. He then goes on to say that he still lives with his parents, with his girlfriend, and they are getting ready to move out, and why can't he just respect him! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Dr. Laura about spit her coffee out into the phone, I could tell. She then told him that if he were her son, she would talk to him like an infant, and MEAN IT!
