He's our 4 year old, and has such an innocent disposition. His curiosity always gets the best of him, he has an imagination that always amazes me. He can turn a piece of string into an animal, and play with it for days.
I took the kids to the dentist yesterday, and had a fantastic experience, to my surprise. The day didn't start out to well because of the snow storm we got. When we bought our minivan, finally caving, we lived in Texas, land of the heat, where we get one snow fall a year, and it's gone withing a couple of hours. We used to have a big ole' Expedition, which we hated with a passion. Kind of ironic that we had a 4x4 vehicle where we didn't need it, and now we do! I couldn't get that dang van off of my street for 20 minutes, it just sat there spinning it's wheels, going nowhere. Now I want my SUV back.
Anyways, we got to the dentist in record time, what should have taken 15 minutes, took 45.
Cole made me smile once we got there. His hygienist came to get him, and greeted him with a "Hi, are you Cole." He looked at her with this confused look for a minute, started shaking his head, and said "No, I'm warm." Then he turned around and proceeded to wonder and awe at the fish tank and the eels and water snakes it contained.
This is my favorite picture of Cole, it captures his innocence, cuteness, and imagination all in one shot.
I am thankful for the cute things kids say that brighten my day and put a smile on my face.
