How to get a 4 year old to eat her expensive food...

We just got back from our trip to California, a much exhausting, but very fun trip. I will post a whole bunch of photos soon, but wanted to share a little sequence of Julia first.

So, those of you who have been to Disneyland, or World, know how not only expensive the tickets to get into the park are, but even more, how dang expensive the food is?! Well, it is. A simple pretzel and drink for our family cost us almost $60, how insane is that? We were eating lunch in the park one day, and Julia got macaroni and cheese (her request). Well, she didn't want to eat it after only a couple of bites, but we were not going to let her waste $15 macaroni & cheese. So I told her she had to eat 5 bites, big bites. She agreed, and it was so dang cute watching her, with her fork in one hand, and her fingers going up with each bite, to make sure she was counting right, and a mouth full of macaroni & cheese. She wanted a sucker.

Counting
"You still have 3 more bites!"
Torture at Disneyland? Isn't that illegal?
So worth it! A Disney sucker. She also got one because she wasn't big enough to go on Indiana Jones (doesn't make sense since she can ride Space Mountain?), and was feeling pretty left out.
